If you like a mix of NWOBHM and classic Doom, you should take purchase this disc by very quickly!! Classic Doom in a 70s guise with cool breaks and NWOBHM melodies. I think Pentagram, Magic Circle or Pagan Altar fit here perfectly as comparison. Stephan
Recently discovered this band. IF their back catalogue, is as great as this I'll be adding them to my collection.
To my ears they sound like someone has blended early black sabbath with led zepplin's bluesier albums. A much welcome trip to the 70s hard blues heavy metal. welshwizzardd
Allow me to copy Pagan Altar's third album title to describe not only III:Pentecost but the whole discography of Wytch Hazel so far: well, yes, it's Magical and Mythical!!! A must-have for the lovers of 70's hard sound revival. BoneWalker
The Philly rock juggernaut's debut LP is finally here, an electric rallying cry led, as always, by Tina Halladay's powerful voice. Bandcamp New & Notable May 10, 2017
OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo
